my oh my, has this one months notice gone fast?? oh yes!!!
It's my last ever tuesday today, and it feels so weird after working somewhere for 5 years! I have some stories from this place, soo many stories. By the way I work with unemployed people so you can imagine how alot of these stories end (usually with me rolling my eyes and shrugging my shoulders and saying, 'your best off not working as you have an I.Q of a peanut')
Me: so what areas of work are you looking for then
customer: well I wanna be a plumber, electrician or bricklayer. coz that's like where the money is aint it??
Me: mmm indeed. so you have all the necessary qualifications then?
Customer: no.
Me: You dont???
customer: no.
Me: I see, how do you expect to work in these trades if you haven't done this before or aimed towards a qualification?
Customer: pick it up wont I? one of those apren-ta-chip things!
Me: (rolls eyes)
so a couple of months into seeing this customer I still haven't managed to get through to him that you cant just walk into a job like that....
me: any luck with your job hunting?
Customer: I'm here aint I? sooo no
Me: I asked for that one......Ok so I have seen a job vacancy that I think you should go for. It's a contemporary dance choreographer, very interesting role.
Customer: WHAT?? but I aint done dancing ever, how can you put me forward for something that I cant do??
Me: Dont stop you looking for Electrician work or Plumbing jobs does it?
do you see my point now???
Customer: have you got any factory work on the computer??
Me: I can get you an interview tomorrow... have a good day.
